_D_o_s_e-_m_o_r_t_a_l_i_t_y _d_a_t_a, _f_o_r _f_u_m_i_g_a_t_i_o_n _o_f _c_o_d_l_i_n_g _m_o_t_h _w_i_t_h _m_e_t_h_y_l _b_r_o_m_i_d_e

_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

     Data are from trials that studied the mortality response of
     codling moth to fumigation with methyl bromide.

_U_s_a_g_e:

     data(codling)

_F_o_r_m_a_t:

     A data frame with 99 observations on the following 10 variables.

     _d_o_s_e Injected dose of methyl bromide, in gm per cubic meter

     _t_o_t Number of insects in chamber

     _d_e_a_d Number of insects dying

     _p_o_b_s Proportion dying

     _c_m Control mortality, i.e., at dose 0

     _c_t Concentration-time sum

     _C_u_l_t_i_v_a_r a factor with levels 'BRAEBURN' 'FUJI' 'GRANNY' 'Gala'
          'ROYAL' 'Red Delicious' 'Splendour'

     _g_p a factor which has a different level for each different
          combination of 'Cultivar', 'year' and 'rep' (replicate).

     _y_e_a_r a factor with levels '1988' '1989'

     _n_u_m_c_m a numeric vector: total number of control insects

     The research that generated these data was in part funded by New
     Zealand pipfruit growers.  The published analysis was funded by
