_R_a_n_d_o_m _G_e_n_e_r_a_t_i_o_n _f_r_o_m _t_h_e _T_r_i_a_n_g_u_l_a_r _D_i_s_t_r_i_b_u_t_i_o_n

_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

     Generates pseudo-random numbers from a symmetric triangular
     distribution.

_U_s_a_g_e:

     rtri(n, r)

_A_r_g_u_m_e_n_t_s:

       n: number of random variables to generate.

       r: concentration parameter of the distribution.  r must be
          between 0 and 4/pi^2.

_D_e_t_a_i_l_s:

     The triangular cdf is inverted to obtain the random numbers.

_V_a_l_u_e:

     Returns a vector of n independent random variables generated from
     a symmetric triangular distribution with mean direction 0 and
     concentration parameter r.
