_W_H_O _M_o_n_i_c_a _D_a_t_a

_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

     The `monica' data frame has 6357 rows and 12 columns. Note that
     `mifem' is the female subset of this data frame.

_U_s_a_g_e:

     data(monica)

_F_o_r_m_a_t:

     This data frame contains the following columns:

     _o_u_t_c_o_m_e mortality outcome, a factor with levels `live',  `dead' 

     _a_g_e age at onset

     _s_e_x m = male, f = female

     _h_o_s_p y = hospitalized, n = not hospitalized

     _y_r_o_n_s_e_t year of onset

     _p_r_e_m_i previous myocardial infarction event, a  factor with levels
          `y', `n', `nk' not known 

     _s_m_s_t_a_t smoking status, a factor with levels `c'  current, `x'
          ex-smoker, `n' non-smoker, `nk' not known

     _d_i_a_b_e_t_e_s a factor with levels `y', `n', `nk' not  known

     _h_i_g_h_b_p high blood pressure, a factor with levels `y', `n', `nk'
          not known 

     _h_i_c_h_o_l high cholesterol, a factor with levels `y', `n' `nk' not
          known

     _a_n_g_i_n_a a factor with levels `y', `n', `nk' not known

     _s_t_r_o_k_e a factor with levels `y', `n', `nk' not known
