_T_h_e _1_9_8_0 _U._S. _C_e_n_s_u_s _U_n_d_e_r_c_o_u_n_t

_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

     The 'Ericksen' data frame has 66 rows and 9 columns. The
     observations are 16 large cities, the remaining parts of the
     states in which these cities are located, and the other U. S.
     states.

_U_s_a_g_e:

     data(Ericksen)

_F_o_r_m_a_t:

     This data frame contains the following columns:

     _m_i_n_o_r_i_t_y Percentage black or Hispanic.

     _c_r_i_m_e Rate of serious crimes per 1000 population.

     _p_o_v_e_r_t_y Percentage poor.

     _l_a_n_g_u_a_g_e Percentage having difficulty speaking or writing English.

     _h_i_g_h_s_c_h_o_o_l Percentage age 25 or older who had not finished
          highschool.

     _h_o_u_s_i_n_g Percentage of housing in small, multiunit buildings.

     _c_i_t_y A factor with levels:  'city', major city;  'state', state or
          state-remainder.

     _c_o_n_v_e_n_t_i_o_n_a_l Percentage of households counted by conventional
          personal enumeration.

     _u_n_d_e_r_c_o_u_n_t Preliminary estimate of percentage undercount.
