_D_a_t_a _o_n _I_n_f_a_n_t-_M_o_r_t_a_l_i_t_y

_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

     The 'Leinhardt' data frame has 105 rows and 4 columns. The
     observations are nations of the world around 1970.

_U_s_a_g_e:

     data(Leinhardt)

_F_o_r_m_a_t:

     This data frame contains the following columns:

     _i_n_c_o_m_e Per-capita income in U. S. dollars.

     _i_n_f_a_n_t Infant-mortality rate per 1000 live births.

     _r_e_g_i_o_n A factor with levels: 'Africa';  'Americas'; 'Asia', Asia
          and Oceania; 'Europe'.

     _o_i_l Oil-exporting country.  A factor with levels: 'no',  'yes'.

_D_e_t_a_i_l_s:

     The infant-mortality rate for Jamaica is misprinted in Leinhardt
     and Wasserman; the correct value is given here. Some of the values
     given in Leinhardt and Wasserman do not appear in the original New
     York Times table.
