_M_a_h_a_l_a_n_o_b_i_s _f_o_r _A_W_C

_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

     Vector of Mahalanobis distances or their root. For use in
     'awcoord' only.

_U_s_a_g_e:

     mahalanodisc(x2, mg, covg, modus="square") 

_A_r_g_u_m_e_n_t_s:

      x2: numerical data matrix.

      mg: mean vector.

    covg: covariance matrix.

   modus: "md" (roots of Mahalanobis distances) or "square" (original
          squared form of Mahalanobis distances).

_D_e_t_a_i_l_s:

     The covariance matrix is inverted by use of 'solvecov', which can
     be expected to give reasonable results for singular within-class
     covariance matrices.

_V_a_l_u_e:

     vector of (rooted) Mahalanobis distances.
