_N_I_R _s_p_e_c_t_r_a _a_n_d _d_e_n_s_i_t_y _m_e_a_s_u_r_e_m_e_n_t_s _o_f _P_E_T _y_a_r_n_s

_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

     A training set consisting of 21 NIR spectra of PET yarns, measured
     at 268 wavelengths, and 21 corresponding densities.  A test set of
     7 samples is also provided.  Many thanks to Erik Swierenga.

     A data frame with components

     _N_I_R Numeric matrix of NIR measurements

     _d_e_n_s_i_t_y Numeric vector of densities

     _t_r_a_i_n Logical vector with 'TRUE' for the training samples and
          'FALSE' for the test samples
