on how to build a new theme, have a look at README.THEMES

Please note, that there is also a Xlib version.

And even an applet for the gnome desktop: See the link below for
     more infos!
                       http://www.gnome.org
Unfortunately I am off the net right know with my gnome CVS directory
     and can't develop for gnome...

AVAILABILITY
the latest releases should be available from
     http://www.asclock.org/tar/

All other flavours of asclock are also maintained there.

     2. `configure`
     3. `make` (Send me the output if this fails)
     4. make install
     5. copy everything in the themes directory to either
	/usr/local/share/asclock/ or /usr/share/asclock/

FEEDBACK
Please send me language customized 'month.xpm' and 'weekday.xpm' files.
If you plan to make a theme, please familiarize youserlf with README.THEMES
and make sure that everything you send us also builds as a default_theme.
Having the screenshots ready for www.asclock.org themes gallery would be neat
    too...
