This is the Debian GNU/Linux prepackaged installer for Star Office
3.1, an office package.

This package was put together by Martin Schulze <joey@orgatech.de>,
from sources obtained from:
  ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/staroffice/

How is StarOffice 3.1 licensed?

This is not free software! It is not under the GPL, a
Berkeley-style license or any other freeware license. Please do not
ask us to make the sources available. As much as we would
personally like to (e.g. in order not to have to fix all the bugs
ourselves :-) ), we can't! The whole StarOffice 3.1 package is
copyrighted by STAR DIVISION Software-Entwicklung und Vertriebs
   GmbH, Hamburg, Germany.

This version is free of charge for non-commercial use. You have to
buy a license for commercial use.

Distribution of this product is managed through our partner
Caldera. We recognize that this is a change from previous
opportunities where beta versions of the product were available
from various CD distributors. Star Division and Caldera encourage
CD distributors to contact Caldera at info@caldera.com if you are
interested in distributing StarOffice 3.1 for OpenLinux. CD
distributors are required to contact Caldera for authorization
before distributing the non-commercial or beta versions of the
   software.

This installer routine is put under the GNU Public Licence.
On Debian GNU/Linux systems, the complete text of the GNU General
Public License can be found in `/usr/doc/copyright/GPL'.
