On unix, the quickest way to install is to untar the archive
and run install.sh. this will copy stuff where it should go;
just set your preferred in the script's rootdir variable.

On irix, there is the additional optional step to install
(as root) the file type rules, so Cecilia can handle it's
icons through the file manager.

Cecilia2.0 builtin modules require Csound3.47 to work fully.
Current versions of csound are included in the Cecilia distribution
you got. Csound can alos be grabbed in source form from
ftp://ftp.musique.umontreal.ca in the pub/mirrors/dream directory.

On Unix, you specify the path to the executable you want to use
(defaults to /usr/local/bin/csound). You may then easily try
early betas or older versions or whatever.

On the Mac, The Mills Perf is identified by creator code,
so make sure you don't have mutliple versions of it lying around,
else the system will arbitrarily use one of them (you may either edit
the codes for each version or simply compress unused versions).
