Shalom.ps is the file to be downloaded to a LaserPrinter.
Shalom.afm is the file generated by the printer.
Shalom.pl has been generated by the program aft2tfm followed by tftopl
Once the font has been downloaded to
the printer, it can be used with "dvips".

Shalom.txt is a file written by J. Brecher, explaining
the font and its usage. The file is problematic in that
not all lines end with an end of line mark. Try and
take the information out of it - Unix' "more" gives
more or less all the information contained within the file.

To make things easier, I have included here a file called
fonttable.tex
You can use this file to print out a table containing
all Shalom's characters, using the following tex file:

\input fonttable
\table{Shalom}
\end

I will appreciate comments! Rama. rama@shum.huji.ac.il
