Due to lack of disk space, the BOGUS release is not available from
ftp.cs.unc.edu. Any references in the "Notes" files to ftp.cs.unc.edu
should be replaced with a reference to phys-pc61.med.unc.edu

The files and directories under /pub/bogus should be placed in
/usr/src on your system. For example,

    BOOT        ->  /usr/src/BOOT
    DIST        ->  /usr/src/DIST
    NOTES       ->  /usr/src/NOTES
    TAR_FILES   ->  /usr/src/TAR_FILES

In the second part of the installation notes, you are instructed to use
fdisk to partition your disks. Note that cfdisk, the curses-based fdisk,
is also available at this point in the installation process.

If there is software that you want, but which is not contained in the BOGUS
distribution, please make a "Notes" file and post it to the BOGUS mailing
list (linux-bogus@cs.unc.edu). We will consider it for inclusion in the
ADDITIONS section of the current BOGUS distribution. All "Notes" files
submitted should compile, install, and tar with the "pms -Ba <pkg-name>"
command. For information on the "Notes" file format, see the man page to
pms(1), and look at the canonical "Notes" files in the NOTES subdirectory
(either on the ftp site or on your system in /usr/src/NOTES).

Please add the following line to /etc/passwd:
